on the drive there, we caught sight of the night lights of the CBD, and thanks to what im doing for human geog in school right now (plus the fact that i have a test on it on monday, so i should know some morsels about this) i blabbered on about re-imaging, 24-hr city, lighting and all that.
when vivo came into view, lyna exclaimed that she had expected to find it sited exclusively like the Esplanade (pronounced as in lemon'ade', thankyou very much) and not squeezed with such close proximity to mrt lines, the power station and the other structures around it. the ride up to the carpark sure beats the airport roundabout.
however, once we entered the place, all squeeziness and st james power stations were forgotten as linda gaped at the high ceiling and wide spaces, lyna ogled at 'The Makeup Store' and 'The Face Shop' (burst of creativity, i tell you), and i was transported back to KL. HAHA.
we wanted to dine at secret recipe, but had bought our movie tickets and the showtime didnt leave us such a luxury (plus there was a queue), so we ended up muching on ljs skin-on potato chips (joy).
i found Miss Potter to be a lovely show with awesome landscapes (the farmlands, hill top house, serene lake, vast plains, sheep running about; the natural landscapes were captivating) and a charming story. funnily, it was not our choice movie - just, most of the movies showing were rated -_- so... yea. of course, it din hurt that ewan mcgregor played her publisher. :)

Beatrix Potter: i didn't want to marry a man simply because he was rich enough to take care of me... but does that mean that im never to be loved?
