Bloody hell; to think I've fallen into the habit of writing my dates April 19, 2008 etc... ): and it's going to be totally wasted. Im gonna do a kind of mid-term dissection of my miserable situation.
The kids who go to __ mostly kind of die-hard; they're really successful at instigating a certain loyalty and love for the school before the kids even GET IN and i acknowledge that is pretty amazing. Anw, back on track, I just wanted to say that for some unfathomable reason i had a nagging feeling after the initial jubilation at the prospect of going anywhere NEAR here, that somehow made it fall from the pedestal. On hindsight, it might have been the proclamation that "the valedictorians don't go here - the kid who scared the valedictorian (ie. kept hikm/her on his/her toes) does" fell flat as i continue gathering (moss) and found that the kids here are actually quite snooty, wise-assed and competitive, not unlike many kids in our beloved Rj (myself included to a large extent, to be fair).
As for the 1 which rose TO the pedestal and which ended with complete and utter disappointment, all i have to say is more its loss than mine (advice taken ironically from AO of the one above)... cos i would've been great. But you know what, as a part of the self-concsolation gift, i shall cling to everything happens for a reason...
