Had an interesting dinner with Lala and her groupmates at FongSeng tonight. 2 issues were raised:

1. You're Malay ah? (Yes) So you get free uni education? (No) How about before uni... pri, sec all tt?
Ans: Nooo.
Clarification: Free education for aboriginals is a British legacy of protecting original inhabitants of a country (practised in many Commonwealth states like Australia, NZ). In SG, since 1991 this policy has been abolished for the sake of meritocracy. Therefore, I pay the same as you and my parents slog just as hard as yours for my and sibs' tertiary education.
Primary edu's free for all btw(: Yay.

2. Why are you in SG? And Arts? Most Rj ppl... (trails off)
Ans: I'm a loser okay.

Ok gonna do Chi now. I like studying Chi; it's fun, and i like that it has a different structure from the other modules... Breaks the monotony of 2hrs mass lecture + 2hrs tutorial every other week + some project that requires droning on about smtg everyone else is gonna write about too. Haha... jaded much? maybe uninspired?
