6 April 2009.
Exams are approaching.
Mind going blank to anything else but work, projects, presentations, deadlines, catching up with lectures, tutorials and readings.
Walking around school becoming a zombie-fying experience.
Sound of scampering footsteps.
Snippets of convos heard today of more high-spirited members of the NUS community:
person walking to tutorial-
"my *ss until flat!"
kid sitting at Rh canteen during teatime-
"wah lao i ran here... im so stressed!... eh why u sit there?!"
-> yes all in one breath.
girls walking around the geog dept:
A: ya! the tall one right!!
B: the shorter one.
(all three glance, ok stare, over their shoulders at 2 normal-ish-looking guys who'd just walked past them)
A: damn! i thought the taller one...
Today my mother replied to me "Fine thank u." and I found myself wishing I never say that to my daughter.
