boring profs?

Today I went for a conference that involved some of the most sleep-inducing keynote speeches I've ever heard. The best part is: they were delivered by these really awesome academic researchers. Haha maybe they do it on purpose to "live up" to the idea of the "boring professor". When most of them are actually very funny in real life or write wonderful articles.
