leading at yishun safra

leading dream finally came true yesterday! reg and i enjoyed our (forever? ;) ) free passes at yishun. outram RC and a couple of random bunches of people were the only other users, much to our happiness. we played speed climbing w them, an activity reg thoroughly enjoyed and ely totally disliked. speed climbers are mad! leading is how enjoyable especially when the crux is past and the rest of the journey to the top is just a matter of quiet ascent. the last route was a killer for me, by that time didn't even have the energy to do those throws so kept hanging on hoping to get past static-ly but sometimes that's impossible and by the time i think i've figured out a solution, too pumped from hanging! climbed till the sun set and the sky turned the prettiest purple and pink and i wondered what the sun set's like in krabi now where our friends are busy leading on natural and eating all sorts of food and making friends with mosquitoes (and skinny dipping? ;D). arms aching comfortably this morning but my finger feels sad and i dont understand why it seems like just that single digit bears the brunt of my climbing while none of the other fingers feel affected at all. poor middle finger kena bullied.
