free evening at wcp

School's in pretty much full swing now and work is piling up up up!
Timetable has been packed since tuts started and it's a mark of how much i have not got my head round it that i missed an impt tut earlier this week. Impt cos it's covering stuff for midterm #1 which is next week. Missing class is one thing; missing class completely undeliberately is something completely different! Luckily i arrived early enough for lect this week to hear the prof say things that sounded like she's already been at tuts; frantically re-checking our favourite companion CORS, i realised (it was Thurs) that my tut was on Mon. Wops. So i attended the Fri slot and the tutor teaches my Mon tut too so that was a piece a good luck. And, it was a great lesson; probably the most enjoyable tut i've ever had. Glad that i got this tutor instead of my lecturer as tutor!

Went to WCP with Reg! We originally planned to watch the (wonderful) time traveler's wife at vivo after WCP, but after a quick online search we realized no point unless we'd booked beforehand and since we weren't so keen on spending $11-$6.50 = wtv u do the math for nothing, we nerdy types did readings instead. After dropping by Provence (of cos) and finding Waffles House closed, we went for not bad Coffee Bean pasta (chicken & mushroom - sharing strongly recommended) and bought a large Ultimate with $1 off (oh the pleasures of being a student). Shifted back in when it got too =/ for studying what with the noise across the road and smokers galore nearby (too bad they weren't across the road too.. or on another continent for that matter. oh well i can dream.),and into Starbucks (yes, with the Coffee Bean cup. shameless ah.) where randomness (no lah actually Reg thought the cakes looked crappy so our selection became highly limited) led us to trying the cheese bagel which was served toasted and with good butter and prettily cut in half in a nice cross-section sort of way so that both halves still had the hole in the centre. Anw, the bagel was bagus!! Happily.
