Climbaprix @ SP over the weekend. Was initially nervous about competing cos it's Open Cat? But nervousness was allayed when 1. i found out there are only 20 participants, 12 of whom are NUS girls, 2. i was the 11th person to climb (right in the middle: new-found favourite position?) and 3. i only really flunked on the 1st route. Would've felt pretty awful had it been a bonus-top system, but it was points so i wasn't too embarrassed once the 1st route (or rather the messing up of the 1st route) was over. NW finals was pretty good; crystel and marisa owned. OW finals was cool - glad i managed to catch it before rushing down to the end of the world (ie. pasir ris). Happy for the finals qualifiers and the winners. Love that after-comp enlightenment when you can pin-point things you need to work on to do better. (for eg. "freaking START"'s one of mine from this comp =S)Climb climb climb! (after essay essay essay =/ )
