today and sanuks

my 2nd pair of Sanuks is one of the most pain-inducing outdoor footwear i've ever owned - definitely top 5 (have worn more damn painful shoes than damn comfy ones).

We used to have a kitten. It was a secret kitten because it had no parental authority to be in our home. We named it 'Today' so that we could use it as a code word around aforementioned parent ('how's Today?' 'hungry Today?' 'have you bathed Today?' and so on). Today was the cutest thing. A small skinny jet black ball, those teeny tiny eyes, the awesome sound of its 'meow', the way it cuddles up against you like you're important, its gnawing on our fingers, its scrambling around. Today played with string ad other random objects, peed on towels, slept among our sheets, smelt of fish. Today was amazing.
