i wonder how much less florists / ad-hoc business people earned this year since vday just had to fall on the same day as CNY day 1. poor things they must've felt like it's one cruel joke; my single most profitable day of they year and the lunar freakin new year has to fall on the same date. why isn't that friendly? haha. personally am enjoying the joke.. think it's good timing too.

on the 1st day of CNY i fell sick..
good time to get rid of my 'sick leave' while on holiday rather than fret about it at some lousier timing.. just before exams for example? i have this (hopeful?) idea that i've a limited number of fall-sick periods every year, so the better the timing for each, the less spiteful i feel about them (: still feeling pretty crappy now, but compared to what i felt yesterday, boy i feel like i could flyyy. me heart meds. every step still kinda like a mini earthquake in my head though.. quite sad to miss 'your lunar new year movie specials' (in booming commercial voice).
