KL trip 10-14june 2010

Just got back from KL this week (:
Love travelling cos you get to leave things behind and enjoy a piece out of reality (does that mean my reality sucks? wops. well when it's a boring string of work days, i guess it might've kinda sucked).

Highlights:
D's mom's house & her 6 housemates
- we stayed at D's mom's house at Klang, together with 5 cats 1 dog 0000 (haha)
- she cooked for us and took care of us and that was nice
- celebrated (in advance) shu's 21st.. have a happy horny year ahead shu =P!

Climbing
- did most climbing at Putrajaya. best thing bout it has to be the RM3 entrance fee which made camp5 the next day feel like quite a pinch (luckily we found a way to lessen the pinch =P). then there are of cos the walls which are pretty cool but most of which are milesss beyond my wildest imagination. it was also not crowded so most of the days our climbing and picnicking were mostly ours and only our business(:

Foodfest
- a trip to malaysia's always a good chance for food extravaganza; eat stuff that i can't back in wonderful singapore & stuff at lower prices (: always gonna be looking forward to this aspect (y)(y)!
- sad to find that yoshinoya had closed down. thank gdness a&w oppo. it was still open for business =)

Shops,Sales,Movies
- not much of a shopper myself but spent some fun time prowling 1 utama looking at stuff on sale
- bought a skirt for me & shirt for dad (:
- movie duathlon: watched *ahemahem* ("ahem" reps. title of show am too embarrassed to confess i sat through) and karate kid (: (no lah it wasnt tt bad; actually qt funny. at least it wasnt horror lol =P)

Transport
- flying's been pretty much a fun experience for me - the anticipation, the taking off, the trying to find a comfortable position within constraints of an airline seat... all culminate in a pretty good time
- we mostly took a van around (to and fro airport, to and fro climbing centres and klang) and it was mostly a squeeze, some rides were less uncomfortable than others depending on whether you got to snag decent butt/leg space (depending on wthr u've lotsa leg, like daffy, or lotsa butt, like me)... and (oh horrors) on whether the aircon was working. 45mins in a van in malaysia truly hot asia w/o aircon is no joke.

Passing Time
- it was cards vs. itouches this trip; think it's a draw thanks to reg's wwf and jw's boat game. rah.
