~4 hour bus ride from UConn to NYC bus terminal, walked to Hotel Pennsylvania where we spent the night. Squeezy but cheap(er)!
Bumped into Hedda and Sahan (2 other exchange students) who were in NYC and the same hotel as us (!) for 1 night, for a jazz concert.
Went to Korean Town for dinner; had authentic Korean fare. Didn't realize how much i missed plain white rice until a bowl of it was placed in front of me (along with a plate of the most delicious seaweed). Needless to say the Koreans were really really happy.

Times Square looks just the same!
Day 2 - Niagara Falls
Rise and shine; 8am @ NYC Chinatown
Intended to take the subway from our hotel to Chinatown, then we realized they were closed on Saturdays. Took the yellow cab, which turned out costing less per pax than a subway would have (: $2/person X 6 people, including tips.
Colorful trees accompany us on our 6 hour bus ride to Niagara.
It was pretty freaking amazing...
On the Maid of the Mist boat tour
In the IMAX theatre afterwards
Day 3 - Thousand Islands
After spending a night in Rochester, we headed to the Thousand Islands region, on another boat tour~
Some sights:
Dinner @ NYC Little Italy while waiting for the chartered bus to pick us up from Chinatown
Found bubble tea @ HK station yumz(:
