We were up till about 2am last night playing bridge in Val's lounge when Shu-en and Lilian finally figured it would be a good idea to head back to their rooms at North. Down they went and out the double doors at M level. Eliza and I were getting ready to wash up and go to lala-land when we received Shu-en's text: "It's snowing! Just started!". Instantly we darted to the room windows (there are 2 in Eliza's room, so we were going back and forth) pressing our noses against the windows, peering and squinting to catch sight of the snow- didn't see nothing. So, we went over to the bathroom to brush our teeth, when Tiffoo came barging in (up 6 flights of stairs, yo!) breathlessly in her thick winter jacket and sleeping pants. "Let's go outside". Off we went, every single one excitedly dressed in pyjamas and a jacket hastily pulled over, out of McMahon and into the snow fall. WHEEE!
woke up this morning to blankets of snow outside. after walking through it, think i might need that waterproof spray for my boots after all :P
