Day 1
Arrived as a Japanese tourist at Kranji mrt, with the largest bag (jensen had the tiniest; he mustve done a shrinking spell on his stuff).
Lunch = OCK spring roll and curry puff from school
Changed buses here and there -> JB Larkin Terminal ("KLKLKLKLKLKLKLKL" etc.) -> Hour wait in bus for it to move off, then long ride to KL! <- disturbed fellow passengers with playing (and losing -_-) cards.
Reached KL bus Terminal hungry as bears! Bought Dunkin Donuts; just nice: buy 6 free 3 = 9 dunkin donuts for 9 hungry travellers
Dropped our barang-barang down at Pondok, dinner at Jln Alor (big fat Ramly for me, Cass and Jud!! yumzzz) + Cheng Teng hohoho
Checked out movie timings at Pavilion... no 17 again = disappointed Reg
Difficult time sleeping cos of the warmth... but Cass and I managed to doze off cos we rcvd the coolest wind... Poor Daffy Reg Jud got the heat and the bed bugs, almost camping out on the sofas that night.
Day 2
The only day i woke up in time for Pondok breakfast despite our room being just beside the breakfast area (and thus the breakfast noise).
Down for beef noodles which i couldnt eat and the tau huay stall was closed.
Cabbed down to One Utama for Camp 5.. the failed hunt for Volvic and the successful one for big bottles of yogurt.
A&W floats + fat waffles + curly fries + more curly fries for lunch yummmmy
did the post-lunch nap-&-laze on the upper floor of Camp 5, then high-walled yea! Miss high-walling but din get to do much leading even there, as we were mostly engrossed with bouldering hmm oh well...
Wanted dinner at chilli's but it was full and we were hungry so off to Nando's! Reg and i found a bug(?) in our rice so we got a replacement serving plus extra fries!! 5 people shared Toppling's bottomless drink =P
Back to One Utama after showering (but boys didnt, kickstarting "boys are smelly") for movie, settling on Wolverine (girls) and Star Trek 0_o (
Day 3
Prata for breakfast! Roti kaya was delicious and cheap <3 and + teh tarik = shiok (:
Cabbed to One Utama and shopped (mostly window) for the longest time before finally joining the boys and Daffy up at camp 5; had lunched at Yoshi (yea!!) and bought Cinnabon's cinnamon rolls (: (: up to snack on when we're hungreh later... went by Craft Haven where Cass bought scrapbooking materials and we're gonna scrapbook!! (although i've next to no idea how to, got Gurus Jud and Reg to show the way) hahaha quite excited.
Oh yea ok, the climbing. Totally bouldered today; zilch high wall.. Couldnt figure out the pink boob route and YiXiong was on fire towards the end of our session. Tried auto belay thingies outside which Reg seemed to enjoy but Jud and i were like: =/ and =/ haha! Wouldnt do it again i think.. Once leading becomes enjoyable, difficult to be content with the feeling of the tug of the rope taking my weight while im on the wall.. Like, let me go already.
Fish & Co. for dinner YAY; after a few moments of doubt about the location of the outlet, we found it!!! hahaha.. Seafood platter for 2 with Jud = alright!! =D super happy yo. Our table shared a Sharkie Freeze which reminded us of the last time when HH slurped it up his nose. which is.. disgusting. (er xing)
Rushed over to Very Thai to check out the rest's dinner (Tom Yam soup which everyone loved), Marks & Spencer's where Cass looked for socks and Reg Jud and i happily ate choc biscuits and applied moisturizers until Reg realized it contained alcohol which proceeded on to our mad run for the toilet to wash the moisturizer off her hands roflmao... Spent the night in Pondok playing bridge with the Dimple Gang (CM, Toppling, Reg and me).
Day4
Tau Huay for breakfast today (part 1) then walked over to Times Square for krispy kreme breakfast (part 2). We started a fashion statement of carrying krispy kreme plastic bags around and Reg and i later had evil thoughts about stealing YiXiong's fresher donuts. Jud Reg and i (macam 3 musketeers) strolled all over the mall looking for things to (guess what?) makan of course! Tasted Old Town white coffee on Reg's recommendation and memories of Bert's gushing over white coffee, then we discovered Very Thai in Times Square! (It's the same restaurant the boys went to the last night with the Tom Yam soup everyone loved) So Reg and Jud had the Tom Yam soup w rice for lunch while i got Marrybrown's Mambo fries and Kenny Roger's Mac&Cheese. We sat at the Thai restaurant for THE longest time hahaha.. while Reg and Jud's stomachs settled the Tom Yam soup, then we shared mango sticky rice yea! (:
Back to Pondok to collect our bags then walked down to the bus terminal and onto the bus which this time was fast to depart and we were off back to SG (and reality...).
Realize upon return a million and one things to do. Headache!! (Kepala sakit!!) Haha.
