Thursday: End of SMUN09 and back to climbing!
Ended SMUN09 (Singapore Model United Nations) today. Met planet and jud (who drove yay!) who picked me up from school and we went to west coast hawker centre to makan dinner then back to school to climb(: Tauhuay supper at selegi makes me a happy ely, bought youtiao back for mama it was great cos they were still warm when i got back.
Friday: Farewell Team Dinner
Cheers to shu for coordinating our batch's gift-giving for graduating seniors.
We had an atas buffet, sing-along session and charades which was full of random lines.
As the night drew on, wii-playing continued and the drinkers got busy whacking bert's alcohol stock =D Some held their liquor admirably while others - names withheld to avoid further embarrassment - got acquainted with bert's toilet bowl or began talking mostly nonsense in a loud voice.
The sane (or saner) of us helped the non-sane out, played wii or had a mini-karaoke session till K.O.

Saturday: New friends
Met 3 students from Uni of North Carolina who are on a summer programme kak shafq's helping coordinate. Brought my new friends Lea, Lucy and Mary for brunch at the prata place near the old CA, then to CA (what's a climber to do =P) and then down to tampines and pasir ris where we ta pao / da pao / da bao / da pao -ed dinner back to my place and watched tv while makan-ing. Happy to have made new friends and most excited to go overseas myself! Seems like visitors may see more of Sg than even some singaporeans do?
