just chucked down the rubbish chute an ikea-bag-ful of my past notes
many painstakingly, often stressfully handwritten pages of scribblings, mindmaps and prose from the time of my life when my primary preoccupation was getting through JC right.
that's what shifting house does i guess... it's forcing me to let go of many things that i own and have kept if for little more reason than i simply couldn't bring myself to throw them away before.
at a glance, some of things i spied while they were on their way down:
- SAT prep materials; fun to do but amounted to nothing in the end
- bio notes genome and how all the Ms (mitosis, meiosis, metaphase etc.) and sequences confused us like crazy
- pretty incredible mind maps of geog topics
- integration techniques; i remember copying my classmate's math assignment once, only to receive a note from the teacher asking why our answers and mistakes are so similar (i received the note; my friend did not =P)
- GP essays. i think i was like GP rep or smtg. rofl
- my awesomely neat econs notes
omg sudden memory of one day each week when our time table freed us up to go over to RI for lunch. the string ray was (y), and sometimes we went to the dining hall or smtg.
