internship run 2

these 2 days will mark my last weekend of slacking since the 1st part of my internship ended (a welcomed 3 weeks break if only i did not have a house waiting to be turned inside out and dust emerging from nooks and crannies untouched for years). admittedly a big part of that internship involved slacking in air-con (no internet access was def. kind of a bummer), taking long lunches and we didn't have to come up with a research paper like everyone else so i suppose i'd count myself a pretty spoiled intern thus far. wonder how the next run will be like - it'll last a week longer this time, till 6 august, by which time i will be happily preparing to leave sunny singapore for chilly connecticut. i'll be working near city hall mrt; pretty happy about the location 'cos it's nearer to home than the previous time (novena) and i guess there'll be more things to do/see/buy during lunch time (if i'm lucky i'll still have long lunches haha!), and it's easier to meet up after work (*hint hint, friends). meanwhile, starting new internship does mean one thing - time to buy new shoes; wanna get pumps (:
