snowing in london & guelph

finally snowing in London!
it was supposed to snow last night, but we only saw flurries.
woke up this morning to white outside.
let it snow let it snow let it snow~

Reg and i went to Guelph (1 and a half hour's drive away from London, towards Toronto) today with her climbing club. The journey there was fantastic 'cos we got to see the transition from fields of green and brown and "dead trees" to driving through a snow fall followed shortly after with thick blankets of pretty snow alongside us. All in the warmth and comfort of a car (: Roofs, cars, sidewalks, etc. were all getting snowed on. Our cameras were so busy clicking away, trying to capture some semblance of the awe that we felt.

Beautiful! And since it's officially my birthday according to Sg time (since i was born in Sg i rationalized that i'm entitled to 2 birthdays this year - my ~ 21(yrs)*24(hours/day)*365(days) = 183960th hour of existence, which was today, AND my birthday according to the date i'm living in now), i'm happy to announce that IT SNOWED ON MY BIRTHDAY! :D foolish grin.
