american idol watch: Lauren was amazing this week. her voice has such an effortlessly pleasant tone and i love it when that part shines, as opposed to when theatrics take center-stage. and she's just quite adorable on the whole anyway.. unassuming yet slamming it when she sings well. i'm always feeling a bit nervous for her cos she doesn't seem to have a grasp on how much potential she has and where her brightest points are (she gives me the vibe of just a girl who likes to sing and happens to do it very very well) so i just hope every week for her that she doesn't trip up.
i'm still rooting for Pia for the win; she's just an amazing spectacle on-stage and she delivers week after week after week (Lauren, Casey, Jacob and Pia for the final 4 he he); it's been 3 dudes in a row (i wish Crystal had won the last one although i like Lee too) - just about time for a songstress winner!
then again, it's not always the best singers or performers that win and it hasn't always translated into proportionate future success as an artist.
THEN AGAIN I SHOULDN'T BE WATCHING AMERICAN IDOL AT ALL WHEN I HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK TODAY
