in other news, grey's and private practice mini-finales this week. SO exciting; grey's first. it was especially heart-wrenching to hear teddy chirpily talk about him when henry's just died on some operating table nearby but she doesn't yet know :( it's sad that their time together was so short (echoes to izzy/danny) and i really hope teddy's character is developed deeper come Jan
pp's 2-hour ep. focused on amelia's struggle with drugs. in the first part, it was quite terrible when she was reeling from withdrawal during the intervention and lashed out at everyone. plus the nostalgic throwback to when she and derek were kids in that store, the watch, and losing ryan. i guess the saddest part about it is the gut feeling that her episode really isn't over, that she can't ever truly 'take back' the things she'd said and how no matter how close, supportive and loving the people around may be.. there are some times and some things about which one would always feel alone
