Some say having one such person in your life is one too many, but this falls solidly under the easier-said-than-done category. For someone with a lousy track record of saying 'no' (i usually take the avoidance track, until the problem vanishes away) it's beyond tempting to fall back into the ease and comfort the good times have offered. I am confident this characteristic will be my bane in my future career or whatever, but for now I'm still a non-committal footloose slacker so no bother. As long as I keep my distance, keep this in mind and (try to) hide my heart away (I guess this kinda warrants an Adele-lyric moment :P ) I should be fine right, and manage to make it through largely unscathed :)
