yishun safra and CA with linda

My 1st weekend as a nanny! Of course, i was elated(: Was up at 7, hopping around and being happy unfazed by the moans and groans of mama and linda (who had linda's parent-teacher mtg on at 9 haha!) who were kinda being grouchy on this beautiful Sat morning. So after annoying them with my cheery mood, i left for tamp, met Reg and Bert, took 969 to yishun where ben did the lead belay clinic with us and i found that intentional falling is indeed very scary! Initially i never really knew what the fuss is about because i think i've only fallen involuntarily -.- before, but people kept saying that intentional falling's scarier and i finally got a taste of that. I just hung on to the tile for a full while when i was supposed to have "fallen", peering over my shoulder at Reg and biting my lip to prepare to let go. Scary lah man. Luckily had a good belayer =D Reg didn't bother climbing so YiXiong fell for me and i was too tight.. So more dynamic on Sun whee!

Spent the rest of the day bouldering, lunch midway with Reg Bert XiaoXian Winfred Mr.Clean at the duck rice place but i had KFC and Mr.Clean had smtg alcoholic. LOL. Poured madly and Reg whined about the thunder then Reg Winfred Mr. Clean and I went back to the gym for part 2(: Happiness when the kids began to leave and the gym became more conducive.. Except for the lousy abrupt and repetitive "music". I think the gym closed early on weekends or smtg, so we left for Northpoint for dinner and movie!! (: We ate at the Jap restarant they went to the last time and the food sure looked gooood but i had beef charsiew noods from sakura. During Angels & Demons Reg did her Q&A thing as usual during the movie and when our show was over, disturbed kenneth who was watching a later show at century square i think. hahaha

Monday
Nice day today(:
Woke up late and bummed around and read books which i've newly discovered around the house that i haven't read! joyyy (: haha dorky ely so happy to find storybooks. Then fetched linda and we went off to CA. ShaoTing Regina and Reg's sis Hazel were playing badminton in the dark outside CA waiting for it to open, and then pingpong too. Linda and I joined them and soon we were tired out haha.. Gerry and Janice came too so it was our family day: Reg & her da jie Hazel, me and my xiao mei linda and the long lost sisters Gerry and Janice =P HH was our route generator tonight =D linda was a sport and just kinda sat around until ST kidnapped brought her out to play and then she munched on nutella bread and complained about wanting more food and so she was how happy when Reg and Hazel gave us customized rice balls! haha so sweet please.

Linda and i left around 8, intending to be back by 9 for dinner and linda's zzz time, but we called mama and found out that she's still in office and leaving soon so of course we went by to get a lift halfway home(: AND we got dinner/supper down at Akbar's thanks to linda's incessant whining about wanting food (Y)! the curry tonight was delicious and the prata was exactly the type we love; layered and not oily but not dry either. yeah! and plus teh tarik, you have a happy ely.
