Enough of the party politics, it's been almost a week since the General Elections (of a lifetime? we shall see) and it's time to see if/how what Singaporeans got up to this year will shake things up for the better. And I got to vote at 21 years old (it shouldn't be a big deal, but boy it is here), so i'm good.
I fell off the face of the universe this week... aka haven't been on facebook, twitter, youtube, TV streaming channel or blogs for 4 days (4 never seemed that humongous a number before). Internship started this week, and it is probably too early to say but i'll say it anyway (and hopefully not jinx it; linda reminds me it's friday the 13th) - it's looking up (: On the down side, it means much much less time for wasting online. Heh. Not for lack of trying though... All my favorite sites are banned at work (for good reason; they preclude getting any "work" done) and someone somewhere has a log of my failed attempts to distract myself. Labor productivity ftw!
Watched SaraB in concert at Esplanade concert hall last night; a fantastically awesome performance at a beautiful venue. She's hilarious and so grounded, her songs are lovvve and her voice is zomgicannotgetenoughofit (Marisa at the end of the show: "my life was complete when she sang Gravity" LOL, but i couldn't put it any other way myself). This is going to sound cliche but you just had to be there. It was afreakingmazing. So glad to have caught her 1st show here XD There's nothing like a 1st time.. Her 1st visit to Asia, her 1st stop on the Asia leg of the tour, she was so surprised to have sold out here. I'm happy as a fat cat with too much milk (:
